Potential client questions:
Why are they all friends? you could have some of them not like each other to make it more interesting.
Why are Enzo and Lukiyndi scared to enter the forest?
Why is there a random creepy doll in this forest?
How comes the rest of them are not scared?

I will be using this sound for my film as I will need to add a sound effect for the characters when they are walking to add the special effects to make sure certain detailed sounds are heard.

What ideas do you have on where you are going to film?
some locations I will be filming are:
A park -
The school -
Evaluate potential locations against each other:
The park is used for the first part of my film as it is where the group of kids are hanging out in the park. This is useful as i have the actual location which makes it realistic.
The school is where the group of kids go into and find out everything as well as coming across the possessed doll and i have an actual school which i can film in again making it realistic.
Why you chose each the locations:
The park is used for when the group of kids are on their day out together and in the park there is a forest which they come across to later explore. I also know I have access to the park and am able to film a part of my film in this location which is helpful to make my film realistic.
The school is ideal for me to use as a location as I know I have access and permission to film also the school is within the forest in the park which they find it is also where most of the film is taken place and is the main part/plot of the story which is why is I picked this location.
What is your final ideal location to film this?
I am going to be using both locations however, only the park in this case as the film must be 2 minutes long so only the park will be used as it is from the beginning of the film and I will not be able to fit the school part of the film within the 2 minutes.
Full Script for Mandy the Doll
Fade in:
Ext. Park
Maeve, Abigail, Lukiyndi, Nailah and Enzo are
all on an adventurous day out together in the park.
The group walk to the park and shortly arrive.
Nailah
(To everyone)
So…todays been nice so far, what do you guys
think?
Everyone else
Yeah, it’s been good.
Abigail
(To everyone)
More to come now that we’re in this huge park.
Maeve, Lukiyndi and Enzo
(Responding to Abigail)
Yeah, it is pretty big.
As the group are talking amongst each other
about their day so far and their excitement they each hold to explore this park
they continue walking until they find something that catches their eyes.
Abigail (To everyone)
So, what do you guys think we will find out
here?
Nailah (Replying to Abigail)
I'm not so sure, we’ll have to see.
Enzo (Agreeing with Nailah)
Yeah, me too agreeing with Nailah but I am excited.
Lukiyndi, Nailah, Abigail, Enzo and Maeve are
walking exploring a park they’re excited to explore and have come across a
forest.
Abigail and Nailah (To everyone else)
Guys come look what we’ve found!
Enzo, Lukiyndi and Maeve (Replying to Abigail
and Nailah)
What? What did you guys find?
Ext. Forest.
They all stop in
excitement to take in what they have just come across however Lukiyndi and Enzo
have a worried look on their faces.
They all walk ahead
whilst Enzo and Lukiyndi stay behind, scared to move forward as they each break
a sweat.
Nailah, Abigail
and Maeve
(To Enzo and Lukiyndi)
Come on guys
there’s nothing to fear we’re just going to explore.
Enzo and Lukiyndi
(Responding to
the rest of the group)
Fine, fine. Ha-ha
we weren’t scared! They replied nervously. Just taking it all in that’s
all.
Everyone else
Sure. Whatever
you say… hinting a sense of sarcasm.
Enzo and Lukiyndi
(To the rest of
the group)
Ok whatever; we
are coming wait for us! They slowly catch up with the others as they fake to
be excited.
They all walk
through the forest, some full of excitement, some not.
Abigail
(To everyone)
Come on there
must be something interesting out here...
Maeve (To
Abigail)
Of course, there
is. Agreeing with Abigail.
Nailah
This place is
huge in the middle of this park. There must be something! They reply
stressfully.
As Enzo and
Lukiyndi are scared but try not to show they can’t help but be keen and be aware
to their surroundings.
Enzo and Lukiyndi
(To everyone)
Guys... come look
what you just walked past. It’s a doll...
Lukiyndi
Why does it look haunted and messed up? In a concerned voice.
Abigail (To
everyone else)
Ha-ha it’s
probably a child’s lost doll chill out please! Abigail replies, struggling
to not get as scared as the others.
Enzo
Abigail, guys,
come on she has a point it does look sort of possessed. In a shaky voice.
Abigail and Maeve
(Sarcastically)
Or it’s probably
going to haunt us hahaha. They both add onto the bizarre scenery of the doll
trying to scare the others as they run off ahead into the forest.
Abigail
Come on guys stop
being a bunch of chickens it’s just a doll there could be worse! Trying to
lighten the mood so they can move further into the forest.
Nailah
Yeah, guys come
on there’s probably so much to explore giving this hint of the doll lying
around. Nailah responded excitedly.
The group who are
half scared carry on their walk in the forest as they hear a crack as if
someone stepped on a stick and broke it.
Lukiyndi
Er... did you
guys hear that?
Nailah
Yeah, I did its
nothing to worry about
Abigail (Trying
to show she’s not scared)
Yeah, let’s keep
going.
Lukiyndi (To
everyone else)
Are you sure I
heard footsteps like someone stepped on a stick.
They turn all
turn around in sync to check what they’ve heard for them to be startled at
nothing but the leaves whistling from the trees.
They all turn
back around to continue walking.
Abigail
See guys its nothing;
stop getting scared over pathetic things.
Nailah (In
disbelief)
I did tell them,
but no one ever listens…
Maeve
Let’s not stress
over this guys, let’s just keep walking.
Around a few
seconds later as they’re walking, they discover a different pathway.
Abigail and
Nailah (To everyone)
Guys come look!
Maeve
It’s another
pathway!
Abigail
Well, I think we
should explore it.
Nailah and Enzo
Yeah, I agree I
don’t want to stay on this one.
Lukiyndi
I agree, me too
let’s go.
The group move
onto the pathway not giving away to each other that they’re getting scared due
to them all agreeing to switch pathways.
Lukiyndi
Guys… is that the
doll from earlier?
Maeve
Yeah, it looks
like it omg.
Enzo
Guys do you think
it’s following us?
Abigail
Don’t be
ridiculous this thing can’t move let alone breathe Enzo someone probably put a
bunch of dolls out here.
Nailah
Guys please, im
over this nonsense can we please keep walking. Adding on to the conversation
nervously.
The group yet
again continue walking until they’ve finally come across something they’ve been
expecting to come across.
Maeve
Guys what’s that.
Lukiyndi
It looks like a
school sort of
Nailah
I think it’s a
school, yeah.
Enzo
Strange. A school
in the middle of this forest? This has to be a joke.
Maeve
Look, It’s there
again! The doll.
As the group come
to a stop in their journey on walking in the forest and take in what they have
just found, Lukiyndi who has been scared all this time goes up to the doll at
the door of this school leaving a shock on everyone’s face.
